Visit
Book an initial consultation to discuss your property goals and requirements. This can be arranged either in person or over the phone. Whether you're planning a modest upgrade or a major renovation, we will assess the feasibility of your project by factoring in relevant building control regulations and key budget considerations.

Quotation
Upon reviewing the project details, the quotation process begins. We strive to leave no stone unturned and are happy to make revisions where requested. Multiple quotation scenarios can also be provided where there is uncertainty surrounding specific phases, such as budget constraints, funding availability or planning permission requirements.

Project
Once the quote has been accepted and a start date agreed, we begin preparing for the project. To help minimise disruption to your household or business, materials are usually delivered only when they are required. Moreover, our team understands the importance of maintaining a clean site and will not leave until this has been ensured.

Review
A final review is then carried out to ensure all works have been completed to the expected standard. We welcome feedback from our clients and are happy to address any final queries or make minor adjustments where required. Our aim is to ensure the finished project meets your expectations and provides lasting value to your property.

LABC
We were pleased to be accepted into the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Partner Authority Scheme in September 2025. Affiliation with LABC gives us access to valuable training, technical guidance and industry support. The scheme also provides us with a dedicated account manager through Cardiff Council's building control team, helping us streamline the compliance process and deliver more efficient project timescales for our clients.
CITB
After employing our first two apprentices in 2025, we naturally applied for registration with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). Following a review of our business transparency and legal compliance, we passed registration and were assigned a CITB Levy Number. Similar to LABC, registration with CITB has enabled us to provide upskilling opportunities for our staff while giving us direct access to the latest industry training, guidance and support.

Yes, we regularly liaise with building control on behalf of our clients and have built strong working relationships with local inspectors. Whether it involves widening foundations, installing additional structural beams, or making other necessary adjustments, you can rely on our expertise to help ensure your project complies with current building regulations.

Absolutely, we manage waste disposal for nearly all our projects. We use SGM Waste Management for skip hire, with deliveries and collections arranged on agreed dates. In addition, our fleet includes a tipper vehicle, and we hold a valid Waste Carrier’s Licence, renewed every three years by Natural Resources Wales. This ensures all waste is handled safely, responsibly, and in accordance with current regulations.

You can expect a professional and personal service from start to finish. Jon, our Managing Director, will begin with a friendly conversation to understand your needs and goals. Depending on the nature of your project, he may also carry out an initial assessment of your property. If the visit is expected to take longer than usual, he will let you know in advance so you can plan accordingly.

We typically use written contracts for medium to large projects, as we find they provide the clearest way of outlining each party’s rights and responsibilities. These contracts usually include key details such as project timescales, how amendments are handled, health and safety requirements, and payment terms.

While we always aim for perfection, we understand that minor adjustments, often referred to as snags, are sometimes required. Whether it is touching up grout, readjusting cabinet doors, or carrying out other small finishing touches, we maintain an open line of communication after the project is complete to ensure our clients are fully satisfied.
